Today we will look at a few companies to get some ideas regarding earnings. Before we move forward lets answer the primary question.

What is Earning Season and why should I care?
Pretty simple it is the time of the year that publicly traded companies report if they are making money or not. Think of it as a kind of "report card" to tell you how well your kid is doing in school.
At IDEASWORTHTRADING in our opinion learning about earnings season can be valuable for the following reasons.
Most of us work for a company that is publicly traded.
We often own stock or investments in a company that is publicly traded.
Many of us have a 401K that is based on companies that are publicly traded.
We all buy goods and services from publicly traded companies.
