Football Season? - NO it is Earnings Season!

So the best thing about creating IDEASWORTHTRADING is that we don't have to filter what is we say. Well... still stay respectful of others religion, race and gender nouns. Even though this isn't Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter there isn't any tolerance for "Kanye-izms" here either. We love his music but hit social commentary is a little confusing. Ok back to IDEASWORTHTRADING.

So you ask "What is Earning Season?" Pretty simple it is the time of the year publicly traded companies report if they are making money or not. Think of it as a kind of "report card" to tell you how well your kid is doing in school.

Why is that important to you? Well there are a few things that is absolutely true about all of us. It is really simple actually.

1. We work for a company that is publicly traded

2. We own stock or investments in a company that is publicly traded

3. We have a 401K that is based on companies that are publicly traded

4. We buy goods and services from publicly traded companies

We are extremely confident one of these statements includes you. So wouldn't you want to know where you money is going? Naw you rather talk about and watch football.
