The $40 Million Dollar Roaring Kitty

Who or what is a Roaring Kitty? It sounded strange to me as well the first time I heard it. Well get your mind out of the gutter, it isn't what you think.

In 2021 the content creator Keith Gill (Roaring Kitty) for Reddit net worth was reported to be around $40 million. Now in 2024, his network is reported as being nearly $300 million. Yes, you read that correctly. A single content creator has made more $$$ than the company that you hope to get a retirement check from one day.

Ok of course you are saying to yourself "HOW". If I knew that answer I would not be writing this post. I would be living in my chateau (large house) in the south of France. (RDDT) Reddit's stock price nearly doubled in its first day as a public company. It ended trading at roughly $50, which means the business is valued at about $9.5 billion. That's quite a pop from the $34 that Reddit priced its shares at going into the IPO.

Some technical chart analysts might suggest that the chart is in an uptrend (higher highs and higher lows) with support below $50 and a possible resistance are $65. There has been testing of the $65 area two times in the last 30 days and prices might revisit the same levels.
